Our Purpose

Academies United was created by Ryan Henry, a Canadian entrepreneur and lifelong futbol guy with one mission, giving young players the kind of experiences that genuinely change their development.

Ryan’s path has taken his kids through youth futbol in Canada, the street-style intensity of Costa Rica, and now the elite environments of Spain. Coaching at multiple levels and serving on boards gave him a clear view of where young players grow, where they stall, and what they actually need to take the next step.

Now living in Spain, Ryan is connected with clubs and academies across the region, giving his own kids access to fast, smart, demanding futbol. That journey is what drives Academies United, opening the same doors for other players so they can grow through real challenge, real environments, and real football abroad.

At the heart of it, his mission is to extend these development opportunities to players who want to grow.
