Academies United is the international division of Primer Toque CF - built by co-founders Jordi Masnou, a former professional player, Valero Fraile, and Canadian entrepreneur Ryan Henry. Together they saw a gap in the market and built something to fill it.
Ryan spent years coaching, volunteering on fútbol boards, and watching his two sons grow up in the game. In early 2025, that took the family to Costa Rica, where his sons trained inside a professional academy environment for six months. It raised more questions than it answered.
The same advice kept coming back: if you want to understand fútbol development, go to Spain.
Castellón: That led the family to Castellón - 45 minutes north of Valencia, inside one of Spain's most respected fútbol regions. Through the local fútbol community, Ryan connected with Jordi and Valero at Primer Toque CF. A club already competing at a high level. A methodology already producing results.
